1-2. Johnny turned down Paul Revere because the Lamphams would have to suffer from hunger and other things withought him.

3-2. Johnny was standing by a furnace and then he ended up getting burned pretty bad from it.

5-2. The burn effected the way johnny could do everything. The Lamphams needed him because he was there best worker but he was useless doing most chores with a bad burn like that.
Unit 3: An Earth Of Brass
Chapter 1
1-3. Rab was the first one to actually be nice to Johnny. he told him that he could have a job even though his hand was burned really bad. and he didnt make fun of Johnny for his burn he just bought it up because it was obvious and then the talk about his hand ended so Rab was actually nice to Johnny.

3-3. Johnny has to learn to be humble since he can't be a silversmith. He can't be a silversmith because of his burnt hand. Its not just because he burnt it because if his skin could grow back normal it would be ok. But when a persons hand is burnt and the skin isnt on the hand the skin all grows together. So thats the reason why he cant really be a silversmith again.
Unit 4: The Rising Eye
Chapter 1
1-4. The merchant lyte is very spoiled and rude. I think it might be because of how much money he has, because some or most rich people can get unhumble and then let there money take over wich leads to nothing but trouble.And that trouble makes him and other rich people have bad attitudes.
Chapter 2
2-4. The Wigs believe that declaring the taxationwithout represantation is tryanny. The Tories believe all differances can be settled with time, patience, and respect for the government.

5-4. The punishments in the book says that the people were fined, whipped, set in the stocks, or held for a higher court.

Chapter 2
2-5. Johnny is the messenger, he brings messages to a lot of people so it is an important job, and they get important news and information from Johnny.

3-5 Johnny likes his new life, but he really missis his life with the Laphams, They were pretty much his family so thats why he missis them so much.
3-5 People live up to expectations, because they get pressured so much.
4-5 The advice Rab gave to Johnny was kind and helpful because when he wanted to say something mean to the black women Rabs advice worked and he didnt say anything mean because he counted to ten.
4-5 The Observers Club goes against American Government.

1-11 The first battle was in Lexington ,and the U.S lost because they had gotten over run by all of the British soldiers. Mostly because the British had more men and ammo.

3-11 None of the captains were in Boston at the time so they can not be punished yett.
Chapter 4
4-11 Lavina was convinced of Johnny's past because of the window sill mark on his forehead.
Chapter 5
5-11 The war changed Johnny and he feels it made him a man.

1:1 Johnny got dirty ,put blood on his face, and tore his clothes to fit in with the soldiers.

1:1 Johnny was amazed because the farmers had no training, and were better soldiers.

1:1 Johnny is very upset, because he thought of all he had to do to get where he was and got disappointed.

1:1 The doctors can not sew Rab up fast enough to stop the blood from coming out so he bleed out.
1:2 Johnny is not so sad of his hand anymore because he realizes that it could be worse.
1:3 Johnny has matured since the start of this book, and he had a crazy adventure, and met some cool friends a long the way, he also got emotional in some parts of the story, and picked up skills like he can hold his temper better.
